Helloooooo guys, I realized that a bunch of people are starting to visit my website, so I think it's a great time to introduce a Blog section here!! I'll be giving updates on my academic work and life here, regarding projects, school, interests, and much more.
I've already updated the front page of my website with this info, but I decided to enroll into Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra concurrently with my school workload this year, the FINAL (crazy) year until college. Getting the classes themselves was a whole process, with our school blocking me time and time again with prerequisites and credit limits, but I finally got it all sorted out. I took my first multivariable class yesterday, learning about parametric surfaces and vector fields. Even with the overwhelming overview of the curriculum I saw in that class, it was a blast. Mathematics just happens to be one of those things I like doing, no matter the difficulty tbh.
Anyways... senior year has been different to say the least. I've been diligently working on my college applications and such (hoping for Berk 🙏), and it's been a lot of work to say the least. With teacher recommendations, college research, and so much more, it's more work than I anticipated it was going to be. Well, that's how it is for most things in my life. At times it's kind of disheartening when you hear the multitude of brown people in your city equipped with multiple college counselors at their disposal. But you have to push on!! How else am I going to achieve my goals.
Other than the academic stuff, I've been really into music development these past few weeks. One of my passion projects (my own indie game) requires a LOT of music, which means I have to learn a lot about the program FL Studio. I already had quite a bit of experience in it, but it gets much more advanced when you want to connect instruments to it and so many more plugins. But the amount of tools I have now is genuinely INSANE, so I'm looking forward to messing around with those in my freetime.
I don't know if you guys have played the new chapter of Deltarune recently, but it's soooo cool. I was talking to a few of my friends about it but the attention to detail in this chapter is crazy. So many random and lore-revealing secrets are just placed around in the game that you have to look for. Literally all of this past July and August I've been playing that when I've felt the itch too. While it is a shorter chapter compared to other ones, it's still a lot of fun and jam packed with lore. I'll have to devise my own theory about the game one of these days 🤔.
Well that's enough from me. I'm planning to update this blog whenever I have time and I'm not racked with work (maybe every week or so?) So stay tuned for the next one!! 😁
